Starting July 1 through September 24, our scalloping season is kicked off and it’s a great time to be here on the nature coast. Scalloping the nature coast in our crystal clear water is a great activity for the entire. family. From true beginners to the most advanced divers, it’s a great way to spend a day on the water collecting the tasty scallops that the gulf offers! Scalloping in crystal river generally takes place in a depth of 3-5ft of water, where you’ll swim around with a mask, snorkel and fins to find their tasty scallops hiding in the green grass below. Once you get the “eye” for them you can find as many as up to 2 gallons a person or a max of 10 gallons per boat. The 2021 season we had record days of catching our 10 gallons. I'll provide safe and comfortable transport to and from the scalloping grounds. On board, will also be a large cooler with plenty of ice and bottled water for anyone on board.
