The person or group will be put on a wait list. We will call the name three times if there is no answer we will rent to the next person. If you rent 3 boats and 1 comes in that person may go out and the time for the group will start when the last persons equipment leaves the beach. Groups waiting for equipment cannot be any larger than 5 to go out at the same time. If the group is larger than 5 we will divide you into two groups and the groups will leave at two separate times.
If we arrive a couple minutes after closing time will we be allowed to check out if we return on time? Sorry we will not check anyone out after closing time for any reason.

Boating policy:

Life jackets and paddles included.
There is an age limit of 18 to sign the release of liability. We do not allow children under one in boats. Other than that children may have there on boat or board but must be strong enough to return the equipment when there is wind
You must have a valid fishing license if you are at least 16. Please do not bring the fish into the boat or you will be charged a cleaning fee.
Equipment not returned by closing time will be charged a late fee of $5 every fifteen minutes.
We use google for time. Please be courteous to our staff and return on time.
Everyone 18 years of age or older needs to bring a valid drivers license which will be held until the rental is returned in the same condition it was purchased.
Please be aware that when signing for your underage child or teen, you are making the decision that your child is capable of going on the water by themselves. No lifeguard is on duty at the lake.
The decision by the County to prohibit swimming has helped keep the lake clean and healthy. Because the lake is located in such a densely populated area, allowing swimming could potentially cause contamination. St. Louis county parks does not want the liability of injury or death.

Pet policy:

Pets are allowed in canoes only. Pets are not allowed in the kayaks or on the paddleboards.
