There are several routes you can take, depending on your fitness level and allotted time frame of your rental. Beginners and nature lovers will enjoy gently kayaking through the tranquility of upper back bay, known as one of the best bird watching spots in the USA. Capture views of endangered species and take in the unmistaken beauty of one of few coastal ecological refuges in California. If you prefer kayaking at a faster pace, head south of our marina, into the lower back bay. The waterway is wider and more accommodating for those either wanting a workout or looking to reach Newport Harbor. For the physically fit and harbor savvy, there are many channels to explore. Additional Information: Anyone in renter's party who cannot swim will wear a life jacket supplied by Newport Dunes. Children 13 and under are required to wear a life jacket.
